Thanks for Running with me!

First off, THANK YOU for taking a few minutes to check out my blog. I know there are many others out there that you could be reading right now, and I am so appreciative that you’ve chosen mine.

For me, creativity has always been a hobby. Something that I am truly passionate about, but never make time for (which is so wrong!) However, the time has come for us to start doing more of what makes us happy. The problem is, there are so many things that can make people happy! Now don’t get me wrong, that is a GOOD thing, however, when choosing a topic to blog about that can be problematic.

After a lot of soul searching, I came to the conclusion that I want to make an impact and inspire others. My plan is to do this by sharing my story about what I know best – health & wellness, specifically through running. While I may not be the fastest runner around, I do know a thing or two about how to get in shape and maintain it. I will share more about my personal weight loss in a future post, but I want you to know that I lost 35 pounds mainly by becoming a more dedicated runner and have maintained that weight loss for almost 2 years. Trust me – if a pizza and cake lover like me can do it, you can too!

If you are not an avid runner, fear not. My blog will have something for anyone who wants to be happy and healthy: running tips, general fitness tips, motivation to inspire mental toughness, active-wear fashion ideas, and MORE. I hope that you will not only take something away from this, but leave feedback, suggestions, ideas, or questions!

Let’s get started.

As an avid runner and advocate for health and wellness, many have asked me where I find my motivation. The answer is that four years ago I was forty pounds overweight and unknowingly putting my health at severe risk. By educating myself and making smarter choices, I have not only returned to a healthy weight, but I have completely changed my lifestyle and am living more confidently than ever. Because of my experiences, I have made it my mission to share my tips & tricks with others and help motivate you to live your healthiest and best life. Experience: 13.1 X 10 - PR 1:55:22, 26.2 X 2 - PR 4:37:10, 10K - 58:50, 5K - 25:05, Orangetheory Fitness Coach, NASM Certified Personal Trainer
